Inner Ninja Lyrics
Below is the second chorus to a song called “Inner Ninja” by Luke Boyd, professionally known as Classified. Luke Boyd is a Canadian rapper and producer from Enfield, Nova Scotia.
He sends a strong message that the kids of the dojo can connect with…through martial arts! Connecting with children is not about telling them what to do or what to think, it’s about sending a message that they can relate to and feel good about. During the “Night of the Ninja” on June 15, ’13, I used the song to enlighten the students while having fun doing it. Here are some of the lyrics that we talked about line by line and how we can use our effects for peace, not battle:
I’ve had bad habits but I dropped ‘em, I dropped ‘em
I’ve had opponents but I knocked them out
I climbed the highest mountains
I swam the coldest seas
There ain’t nothing I’ve faced that’s been to much for me
Nobody going to see me coming
Nobody’s going to hear a sound
No matter how hard they tryin’
Nobody’s going to bring me down
Nobody going to see me coming
Nobody’s going to hear a sound
No matter how hard they tryin’
No stoppin’ me since I found
My inner ninja
My inner ninja
My inner ninja
My inner ninja
